About Seoul Tonic
What is in Seoul Tonic?
Each 100ml Seoul Tonic is made from not one, but two Korean Pears. A native of East Asia, the Korean Pear is a large round watery fruit best eaten raw when ripened from the tree - right when we juice them. We have combined this with the ancient Traditional Korean Medicine ingredient of Hovenia dulcis. Hovenia dulcis has been used for centuries as a tea to prevent and heal the damaging effects of alcohol on the liver amongst a myriad of other antiviral, anti-inflammatory health benefits. A match made in hangover heaven!
How does it work?
Korean Pear and Hovenia dulcis are the two main ingredients of Seoul Tonic. Korean Pear contains key compounds associated with the metabolism of alcohol, Aldehyde Dehydrogenase (ALDH) and Alcohol Dehydrogenase (ADH). Hovenia Dulcis contains the natural chemical compound Dihydromyricetin (DHM) known to protect the liver from harmful damage, as well as a commonly known compound Quercetin which has antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties. Drink Before Drinking will activate these beneficial properties and help protect the body before the consumption of alcohol.
How do I use it?
Drink Before Drinking. It is that simple. Before the consumption of alcohol, make it a health priority to drink one 100ml squeezy of Seoul Tonic. Expect a naturally sweet flavour from the Korean Pear and a caramel after taste with the addition of Hovenia dulcis.
